Bringing your pet to the surgery

In the interest of you dog's safety please use a collar or a harness and a lead. Allow him/her to go to the toilet before entering the waiting room.

Make sure your cat is in an escape-proof carrier.

It is not a good idea to feed your animal directly before coming to the surgery as over-excitement, nerves or the car journey could make him/her sick. It could also be an issue, should a aneasthesia, sedation or a blood test be necessary.

However, food should not be withheld from small furries and rabbits.
