How to register:

If you are not yet registered with us, then it is important to phone us in order to create a record for your pets. If your pet has records at another veterinary surgery and you want to transfer to us, we will contact your previous vets for all your details to be forwarded to us. This is very important for the continued treatment of your pet and is a requirement by the Royal Collage of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

Bringing your Pet to the Surgery:

In the interest of your dog’s safety, please use a collar or harness and lead. Make sure your cat is in an escape-proof carrier. We have safe carriers for sale at reception. Cats are great at escaping and wriggle their way out of blankets, boxes and your arms. It is not a good idea to feed your pet directly before coming toe the hospital as over-excitement , nerves or the car journey could make your dog sick. It can also cause problems should an anaesthetic, sedation or blood test be required. Please allow your dog to go to toilet before entering the waiting room. Food should not be withheld from small pets and rabbits.
